ICYF Young Volunteers Camp 2026 is a flagship fully-funded summer exchange program organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye.
While previous editions focused on humanitarian crises and pandemic recovery, the 2026 edition centers on Climate Action. Under the theme “Empowering Youth for Climate Action to Build Climate-Resilient Communities,” the camp aims to equip young leaders with the practical skills needed to address environmental challenges and lead disaster risk reduction efforts.

Financial Benefits and Coverage
The program is designed to be accessible to talented youth regardless of their financial background:
- International Travel: Organizers reimburse international airfare up to $250 USD.
- Domestic Travel: Participants from within Türkiye receive reimbursement up to 3,500 TL.
- Accommodation & Meals: Full on-campus housing and catering are provided at the Marmaracık Youth Camp.
- Local Transport: Free shuttle services from the airport/bus station to the camp site.
- Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for the duration of the camp.
- Cultural Experience: Includes a guided city tour of Istanbul and various cultural activities.
Eligibility Criteria
To maintain the camp’s high impact, the following requirements are strictly enforced:
- Nationality: Citizen of an OIC Member State, OIC Observer State, or representative of a Muslim community in a non-OIC country.
- Age: Open to individuals aged 18 to 35.
- Language: Must be proficient in English (No IELTS/TOEFL required).
- Experience: Demonstrated interest or active involvement in climate resilience, environmental volunteering, or disaster risk reduction.
- Commitment: Willingness to participate in all field activities and a commitment to applying the knowledge gained in their home communities.
Camp Objectives and Activities
Participants undergo a blend of theoretical workshops and hands-on field training:

- Project Ideation: Collaborating with peers to create youth-led climate initiatives.
