Core Thematic Tracks for 2026

The discussions in Alpbach are organized into four refined tracks:

  1. Climate: Focusing on markets, biodiversity, and reaching neutrality by 2050.
  2. Security: Addressing the European Defence Union and geopolitical realignment.
  3. Democracy: Rebuilding trust in the digital age (AI and disinformation).
  4. Finance & Economy: Innovation as a competitive edge for Europe.

Application Process

The EFA uses an anonymous review process to ensure fairness.

  1. Motivational Statement: Answer questions regarding your social initiative, leadership experience, and how you will contribute to the forum.
  2. Required Documents: Prepare your CV (without a photo) and your most recent academic or professional transcript.
  3. Regional Clubs: If you have a connection to a specific region (like Salzburg, Lower Austria, or Italy), you should apply through the relevant Forum Alpbach Network (FAN) club.
