Eligibility Criteria (Pakistan 2026-2027)

To be eligible, you must strictly meet the following requirements:

  1. Grade Level: Be currently enrolled in 9th or 10th grade (or O’ Level 9th/10th) in a secondary school in Pakistan.
  2. Age: Must be between 15 and 17 years old by the start of the program (typically August 15, 2026).
  3. Academic Standing: * Minimum 60% average in all major subjects (English, Math, Science) for the last three years.
    • No failing grades in any subject during the past three years.
  4. Nationality: Must be a citizen of Pakistan and reside in Pakistan (Dual nationals are not eligible).

You will live with a volunteer American host family. These families are diverse and located across all 50 U.S. states. They are not paid to host you; they do it to share their culture and learn about yours.

Do I need an IELTS score?

No. You do not need IELTS or TOEFL. The program uses its own English test (ELTiS) during the selection process.

Can I travel to the U.S. alone during the program?
