- Mandarin Chinese: Taught by the Taipei Tech Chinese Language Training Center (CLTC), focusing on conversational skills and character recognition.

Eligibility Requirements
- Target Countries: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Academic Level: Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior undergraduate students. (Master’s students are sometimes considered depending on the specific year’s MOFA guidelines).
- Language: While no formal IELTS/TOEFL is required, you must demonstrate a high level of English proficiency to succeed in the technical courses.
- Restrictions: You cannot hold a passport from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, or Macau, nor can you be a current recipient of other Taiwan government aid.
