ICYF Volunteer Youth Camp In Antalya, Turkiye (Fully Funded)

The ICYF Volunteer Youth Camp is a flagship initiative organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye. While the 2022 edition was held in Antalya, the 2026 edition has shifted its theme and location to meet current global challenges.

For the 2026 cycle, the program is titled the “ICYF Young Climate Volunteers Camp” and is focused on building climate-resilient communities.

Fully Funded Benefits

The ICYF remains one of the most generous youth organizations, providing the following:

  • International Travel Reimbursement: Participants cover their tickets initially, and the organizers reimburse up to $250 USD.
  • Domestic Travel: For those within Türkiye, travel is reimbursed up to 3,500 TL.
  • Local Logistics: Free shuttles from Istanbul airports to the camp, plus a guided city tour.
  • Hospitality: 4-star shared accommodation and all meals provided.
  • Insurance: Full medical insurance for the duration of the camp.
  • Certificate: An internationally recognized certificate of participation upon completion.

Eligibility Criteria

To be selected, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Nationality: Citizen of an OIC Member State or an Observer State, or a representative of a Muslim community in a non-OIC country.
  • Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Experience: A background in climate change advocacy, environmental volunteering, or disaster risk reduction.
  • Language: Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Commitment: Passion for local community action and ability to attend the full 6-day program.

Core Objectives for 2026

Unlike the 2022 disaster management focus, the 2026 camp aims to:

  1. Climate Literacy: Raise awareness of climate science and global environmental crises.
  2. Youth-Led Action: Facilitate the creation of local projects to address climate disturbances.
  3. Leadership: Promote advocacy for sustainable solutions within the OIC region.
  4. Resilience Training: Practical workshops on preparing for hazardous environmental events.
